Please note, Period C and D flip on a weekly basis. The calendar clearly
identifies the CD weeks and the DC weeks.

Monday

Monday January 20th, 2020 

  • Semi tickets will be on sale today at lunch for $15 in the main foyer! SA cards will also be on sale for $10, which you will need to get into semi. Semi is on February 21st!
  • Model UN permission forms are going out the week after exams! Get them in by February 14th if you want the early bird fee :)
  • Anyone who wants to compete in the math contests, please inform Mr Delva by tomorrow!
  • If you’re interested in writing the Waterloo Canadian Computing Competition, please see Mr Wood in room 107 today.
  • Swimmers, please give your meet forms to Ms Farahani ASAP.
  • There will be a brief but important meeting for the novice girls volleyball team today at lunch in room 321.
  • Ms Dalton has agreed to come back to KCVI on Wednesday, January 22nd for any students who would like support with PSEs or post secondary essays. She will be once again in room 118 at lunch. Come on down for some feedback on your applications. 
  • Hey grade 9s. Do you have questions about exams? Do you feel like you could use some help reviewing your work and organizing your time? Do you like hot chocolate? Come on out to Cocoa and Cram, brought to you by Link Crew! It will take place Monday and Tuesday right after school in the library. All grade 9s are invited.
  • Students thinking about going to college next year, the deadline for college applications is February 1st. Please see Student Services if you have any questions or need any information.

Tuesday

Tuesday January 21st, 2020 

  • Semi tickets will be sold after the exam break. Guest tickets will also be sold in February. Good luck on your exams and remember to take care of yourselves!
  • Tired of cold weather and studying? Come to the foods room on Wednesday to get a free cup of hot chocolate! There will be cups but you are encouraged to bring your own!

Wednesday January 15th, 2020 

  • Reminder to any grade 12 students considering university next year that the deadline to select your choices in the OUAC is today, January 15th. Please see somebody in student services if you need any support.  
  • Semi tickets will be on sale today at lunch for $15! Make sure you buy your SA card for $10 before the event on February 21st in the main foyer! 
  • Are you interested in learning how to solve complex problems to create global change? Queens engineers without borders is inviting you to an info session today at 4:30 on Queens Campus Kingston Hall room 304. Come join us to learn about global issues, engage in team building and enjoy some snacks! 
  • The novice girls volleyball team will practice today’s at lunch in the main gym. Please hustle to get there so we can set up the nets and get playing! 
  • Ensemble members of Grease are reminded of the rehearsal today and tomorrow at lunch in the music room.
